Sometimes things look better from afar

I've heard a lot about vlogging lately (video blogging) and while I'm still too chicken to do a "real" one, I thought I'd dabble in it with this fun video EmDee took a few weeks ago at one of big T's games. Sweetpea was totally excited about going up and meeting the mascot, a Tiger, for the other team. She got within about six feet of him and abruptly sat down, leaning back into my legs. Some things just look better from afar!

I'm wondering if this is any indication as to how the meeting with Santa is going to go this year?

Too cute! I'm afraid that Angel and Little Man still react the same way! I was surprised that they weren't afraid of a real live bulldog the other day.

Poor thing! My son probably would have malled the tiger, but he's crazy like that! I have been showing him books and teaching him who "Santa" is so that he will be excited when he sees him in person. Maybe that will work for you too. :o)

Oh my goodness, good luck with Santa!! I think I'll do a Santa post with all of Logan's pictures over the years - hysterical! Using both definitions of the word!

Good luck with the Santa visit. My oldest was terrified of him for the first few years.

I think you should dive into the vlogging - I know you will do great. I started doing it two weeks ago. We could help keep each other motivated!

So cute! You wonder how their little brains try to process something so bizarre!

And we are super, super lucky! Tem's Papa looks just like Santa, and he even has a suit too. Last year he played Santa for all our friends (http://tinyurl.com/64xcsy
). I just hope she doesn't sell him out to her friends this year :)

Very cute! Last year was the first year that we had success visiting Santa. And they still are not fans of mascots...hoping they grow out of this by May when we are heading to Disney.
