Baby gazin'

There are so many posts running through my head these days, but when I get a chance to sit down at the computer I can't put my thoughts into any coherent order...I guess that is what broken bits of sleep here and there will do to a person. We're getting better at balancing everything without help, but at the end of the day I'm exhausted. I still have a lot to learn, and I'm sure as Sugar Plum gets bit older things will get easier as well. EmDee is back to work and working crazy strange hours, which doesn't help.

What are you up to? Any tips for managing those bleary newborn days? ;)

Was Sugar Plum was in the top photo (last post)?

I will say from experience (twins and all;)- That you just do the best you can. People told me to rest when the babies rested......yeah right. That was a joke. They were on a schedule (and they slept, ate, ect. at the same time), but with all of the health issues (stooling out, reflux w/ olts of projectile) that my laundry was always Mount Loadmore! Prayer got me through all of my days and devotion to start my day is the best advice I can offer.

Hang in there and I can't wait to see more of you in blogland with thaose precious angels!

Hugs and Blessings!!!

I know this doesn't help...but when I think back to 4 years ago, when I had two babies and a 3 year old, I was so tired and it felt like it was a challenge to just FUNCTION every day. And now I just wonder where all the time went.

Again, I know that doesn't help. Sleep would help. Dinners that made themselves would help. A cleaning service would help. And oh, my, the diaper changes seemed to never end! But now I wish I would have just sat down and enjoyed their amazing babyness more.

You are doing the best you can, and that is all that they ever need.

Ummmm yeah. I think I remember just somehow getting through it day by day and then one day I realized it wasn't so hard anymore. Then again, having a child who started to DO something rather than just lying there staring at me (when baby 1 = ohhh look, he just spit up, isn't that precious?) probably helped. That and catching sleep wherever and whenever I could. Housework? Pshaw! Dust helps keep allergies at bay.

Take lots of pictures! I think that's the only way we can remember how they look when they're so little and we're so sleep deprived!! Congrats!

I just kept telling myself that eventually it would get better and eventually it did. But being worn out and never finished is just par for the course. And it's totally worth it!
